Vlora

City of Albania

Vlora is a city at sea. There is only one of the main ports in Albania, but also has a great historical importance: here in 1912 the National Assembly has proclaimed the independence of 'Albania and there he founded the first national government headed by Ismail Qemali. At this event you can find out more by visiting the Museum of Independence. On a hill above the city is "Kuz Baba", a religious place, where you can see the beach and the whole city.
