City of Albania
Kruja is a medieval town near Tirana. The name of Kruja is closely connected with that dell'eroe Albanian national, Giorgio Kastriotta Scanderbeg, which, in the fifteenth century, has fought against the Ottomans for 25 consecutive years, defending European civilization from their threat. In a prominent and strategic place near the town, there is a castle, and the Museum of Scanderbeg (National Museum). Long road leading to the castle, is also a medieval bazaar.
